Finally at the end of about 6 arduous years, the convocation ceremony of our 2000 MBBS batch of Trivandrum Medical College marked the end of metamorphosis from Raman to Dr. Raman. The ceremony was blessed by the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Kerala University – Mr. Ramachandran Nair, Director of Medical Education – Dr. Meenu Hariharan, Dr. Sreenath, Dr. Ashwinikumar etc. It was a moment of pride for the parents and the budding doctors. The occasion served as an opportunity for interacting with families and friends for the last time probably which would be the case as all will scatter in different places for making their niche. The cultural programs that followed was a final chance for exhibiting the talents to the friends. The dance and music helped to forget the pain of separation from friends was a fitting way to say “adieu” to the Trivandrum Medical College.
